Noida gangrape victim succumbs to injuries

A woman who was shot at by her alleged rapists last month succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday at Delhi's Safdarjung hospital, police said.

The woman was allegedly gangraped by three men on March 31 in Noida's Kanshi Ram colony area. The accused had fired a bullet at her when she protested. The victim was admitted to the hospital, where she died on Wednesday, police said.

An FIR in this regard was lodged at sector 39 police station, Noida. Police have already arrested the three rape accused and sent them to jail.

Now, after the death of the victim, the three accused have also been charged for murder.
