KOCHI: The Malayalam edition of the Limca Book of Records 2012 was launched here on Wednesday. The book was jointly released by eminent personalities from Kerala who have been included in the Limca Book of Records over the years. Cardiologist Dr K M Cherian, singer K S Chitra, footballer I M Vijayan, Shiva Keshavan, India’s first and youngest Luge Olympian, editor of Limca Book of Records Vijaya Ghose and senior vice-president of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd P Akeel Mohamed were present. The Malayalam edition, first launched in 2009, is the only regional language edition of the Limca Book of Records. The 2012 edition is a ‘music special’ which has a separate section on music along with ovezr 10,000 records from various other fields.
