The FIRs have been registered against unknown officials in the office of the DG of Family Welfare and others.
New Delhi: The CBI on Thursday registered new cases in the National Rural Health Mission scam (NRHM) scam of Uttar Pradesh.
The FIRs are based on the following allegations - irregularity of Rs 2.4 crore in purchase of medicines, misappropriation of Rs 12.5 lakhs meant for district hospitals, fraudulent receipts meant for PSU pharma companies but payments were received in personal accounts.
Raids are currently on in Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Agra and in Gujarat.
The FIRs have been registered against unknown officials in the office of the DG of Family Welfare and other private persons. The CBI had already registered 14 cases and with these new FIRs, the total number stands at 17.
