Officials get website to air grievances

BANGALORE: Soon, any departmental grievances or complaints can be filed at the up-coming departmental enquiry manual website. The manual website aims to protect honest officials from harassment and curb malpractices.To make the manual effective, a manual containing the do’s and dont’s for the disciplinary authorities and enquiry authorities would be made available on the internet at http://www.depenq.fees.net on December 9 from 4 pm and the content will be available on the website on January 26, 2012.Citizens, officials and retired employees are requested to give their suggestions, comments and criticisms.The manual has been prepared taking into consideration the recommendations of the administrative reforms commission, expert committee reports of Government of India, recent major decisions of the Supreme court.Feedback can be given by email to [email protected] or the office address: M N Vijaykumar, principal secretary DPAR 21st floor, Visweshwaraiah Tower, Dr Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore.
