Islamabad: The showdown between the supporters and opponents of President Pervez Musharraf will be held in front of the United Nations headquarters on Tuesday, the day he is scheduled to address the General Assembly.
Musharraf's opponents, carrying big tumblers and portraying the leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) will face President's supporters, Online news agency reported.
They said tumblers would hang on long sticks portraying pictures of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, his brother and Chief Minister of Punjab Pervez Elahi and other PML leaders.
Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, the younger brother of former Prime Minister Shujaat Hussain, has arrived in New York to lead the pro-Musharraf rallies.
