Rajinikanth would love to go to a dhaba for a meal, he is grounded, says wife Latha

New Delhi: Latha Rajnikanth calls her superstar husband very grounded. Few days before Rajinikanth's film 'Kochadaiiyaan' released in theaters, the actor's wife spoke to CNN-IBN and stated that how he is very spiritually connected and gave him credit for re-inventing himself even at this stage in his career.

"Like Amit Ji said, he says 'he is bored but look he keeps reinventing himself'. He has given his face and personality to a technology that can be brought into the country which is similar to the technology that was used to make 'Avatar' and 'Tintin' and he went through that experience, which is was quite nice," explained Latha.

Latha also called her husband humble and spiritually inclined. "He has been spiritual since childhood and that perhaps keeps him grounded. He'd love to go to a dhaba, have a coffee over the counter which he can't do. He misses that."

With fan following that can put any top league Hollywood actor to shame, Rajinikanth's films have an universal appeal even if the language is not familiar. "The North-South divide doesn't exist anymore. His films are now on National level. He couldn't too many films here (Bollywood) because of a busy schedule but that hasn't effected his popularity," added the actor's wife.
