New Delhi: The wait has been long. And finally the fans of popular sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother' will get to see the girl who marries the main protagonist - Ted Mosby.
The identity of the mother was revealed by CBS channel on its Facebook page recently with a still from the episode featuring actress Cristin Milioti who will play future bride to Josh Radnor's character. The picture was aptly captioned as " A secret 8 years in the making! You just met... wait for it... the mother! Like this post if you were surprised!"
The Mother makes an appearance at the end of the eighth season's final episode which incidentally is also the episode which has Robin and Barney getting married. According to representatives of CBS, Ted is to meet his future bride at the wedding.
The popular sitcom, which began in 2005, is the story of Ted Mosby, an architect in New York, who narrates to his children how he met their mother. The story follows the lives of Ted and his friends, Barney, Marshall, Lily and Marshall living in New York. The identity of the Mother was kept under wraps until now.
The sitcom will be airing its ninth and final season this year which will narrate the story Ted and his future wife.
