Row over KMF chief appointment

BANGALORE: Fresh trouble started in the BJP over the appointment of new chairman to the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF). The ruling BJP is once again divided over the issue. Former CM B S Yeddyuruppa is backing Revana Siddappa, a Lingayat leader from his home district Shimoga and Eshwarappa and his team are said to be in favour of renominating Ballary city MLA Somashekhar Reddy for another term. A meeting was held at the home office of CM D V Sadananda Gowda on Sunday night, which was attended by state BJP president K S Eshwarappa, could not take any decision. Emerging out of the meeting, Eshwarappa told reporters that the party will finalise the candidate for the post by Monday evening. The meeting also discussed about the reported difference between the leaders on who should lead the campaign for Koppal by-election.
