Veteran Rushmi Chakravarthi (36.25) continues her fall, losing six places in the singles rankings to be at 428. She, however, has managed to retain her 358th position in the doubles rankings.

French Amelie Mauresmo holds on firmly to her top spot in the singles list with 3692 points followed by Belgians Kim Clijsters (3377) and Justine Henin-Hardenne (3093) at the second and third spot respectively.
