SBI observes Fraud Prevention Day

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Bank Of India observed Know Your Customer compliance and Fraud Prevention Day at all branches on Monday.Arunkumar Agarwal, General Manager of SBI, Kerala Circle, said that the  staff should be know the customers thoroughly in the view of the growing technical advancement and burgeoning economic transactions through the banks.The fraudulent transactions were mostly observed in accounts which lacked proper knowledge of the customers, he said.He also visited the Trivandrum Main, Marakkada Road and Nanthencode branches and unveiled the boards which provides information regarding  identification documents such as pan card, voter Id card and passport  which are essential for opening new accounts.
