Two top PLFI leaders were among seven ultras arrested from separate places in Jharkhand and weapons and looted materials were recovered from them, police said here. Self-styled zonal commander Tulsi Pahan of People's Liberation Front of India and three of his associates were arrested in neighbouring Ramgarh district by Ranchi Police, Senior SP Saket Kumar Singh said.
Two arms were recovered from them during the raids launched yesterday following a tip-off, he said. Daily used articles, product of a consumer goods MNC, were recovered from Pahan, "who confessed to have looted them a few days ago", the police officer said.
In another raid, the outfit's 'sub-zonal commander' Shivdayal Oraon and two of his associates were arrested from Chanho in Ranchi district, he said. Seven rifles, a country-made gun, PLFI 'receipts' and other articles were seized from them, he said.
