Sex, lies, videotape: 4 held for blackmailing businessman
The four ran a fake news agency in the Capital.

New Delhi: Four people, including a woman, were arrested for running a fake news agency and allegedly extorting money from a businessman by filming a sex tape, the police said on Friday.

On the basis of a complaint filed by a south Delhi-based businessman, the anti-extortion cell of Delhi Police arrested the four people from Tilak Nagar area for making a sex tape of the businessman and blackmailing him.

In his complaint, the businessman said he had befriended a young girl, Nisha, over during phone conversation.

Thereafter, he met her at a restaurant in Bhikaji Kama Place July 1 and later they went to her friend's place at Chanakya Place in Dabri. One person called Neeraj was also present there.

They offered alcoholic drinks to the complainant and then Neeraj left the place on some pretext.

Under the influence of liquor, Nisha lured him to have sex with her and one of her associates filmed this secretly.

The women allegedly called the complainant July 4 at the same restaurant where she was present along with Neeraj and another man who identified himself as Rajesh, a news reporter.

They showed him the video film prepared by them and demanded Rs.1 million from him else the film would be broadcast in media as well as sent to his family members.

A deal was fixed with the four to hand over the video tapes Thursday around 5.45 p.m. near Bhutani Hotel in Tilak Nagar.

The police laid a trap there and the four people were apprehended and the video camera was seized from.

The accused were identified as Brijesh Kumar (30), Raj Kumar (29), Neeraj Kumar Sanger (32) and Vandana Soni (20).
