Shrikande appointed Assistant Chief of IDS

Rear-Admiral Sudarshan Shrikhande, Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command, has been appointed as the Assistant Chief of Integrated Defence Staff(IDS), in charge of financial planning at the IDS headquarters at New Delhi. 

Admiral Shrikhande, who has served as the Chief of Staff of the Southern Naval Command since August 2010, is an alumnus of National Defence Academy at Khadakwasla (Pune), Naval War College (Saint Petersburg), Naval War College Newport (United States), and College of Naval Warfare (Mumbai).  ENS
