An advocate and three persons were arrested in connection with the threat-SMS to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren as well as a DGP, from Telco police station area in Jamshedpur, police said on Friday.
The four were arrested from Laxminagar Zone 3 of the Telco police station area last night, they said. Two of the four arrested were identified as advocate Sudhir Kumar Thakur, his neighbour Gunjan Kumar, sources said.
DGP, Jharkhand, Rajeev Kumar had received a threat-SMS, warning him to stop anti-Naxal operations or he will be eliminated along with Chief Minister Soren.
