The Task Force sleuths nabbed a person here on Tuesday for allegedly supplying fake documents for processing.
Seals and stamps of various nationalised banks and private companies, five passports, various bank statements, a computer and other materials were recovered from him.
The accused, Arslan Farooqui (40), is a resident of Salarjung Colony in Toli Chowki.
According to police, Farooqui prepared fake bank statements, various company letter heads, property valuation reports, cover letters of various companies and other related documents that are to be produced before the US Consulate at the time of interview for visa.
“Farooqui prepares these fake documents at his house with the help of a computer and printer for those who want to go to the US for educational or business purpose.
He collects huge amounts from the customers,” an official release said.
