Bhopal: Following the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will start a radio address from August 13.
The first of Chouhan’s addresses will be aired at 6pm on August 13. Chouhan would be sharing his views with the public on various issues besides disseminating information on his government’s priorities, said a statement from the Department of Public Relations said on Friday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ started in October 2014, where the PM discussed his ambitious Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Chouhan’s programme named ‘Dil Se’ would have the tagline ‘Shivraj ki Apno se Apno ki Baat.’ All All India Radio (AIR) stations would be airing the address simultaneously.
The subject of the address would be chosen by the CM, the statement said.
In neighbouring Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Raman Singh had started a radio address in September 2015.
