Telangana state in October: Shankar Rao

HYDERABAD: Claiming that separate Telangana state would become a reality in the coming October, textiles minister P Shankar Rao on Saturday appealed to Telangana employees, teachers and workers to postpone their proposed general strike as the central government was keen to resolve the issue. He also wrote a letter to Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi requesting her to take a decision favourable to people of Telangana at the earliest.
