The Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited, on Friday, told the Madras High Court that it has decided to drop the tender process initiated in June, to call for fixation of carriage fee and allotment of slots for satellite free-to-air and pay channels in the cable TV service.
In his order on Friday, D Hariparanthaman said an affidavit filed by the Corporation, stated that it had decided not to proceed further with the subject tender initiated on June 28, 2012.
He said a direction was issued to return the price bids offered by the petitioners, without opening the same and also the Earnest Money Deposit offered by the petitioners within a period of four weeks.
