Textile exhibition

BANGALORE: Society Collection exhibition opened at the Hotel Lalit Ashok on December 8 and will continue till December 10. It was inuagurated by Praveen Sood, ADGP and his wife Vinita Sood. The exhibition displayed over 85 stalls. It witnessed huge  crowds streaming in even before formal inauguration.  This year’s collection saw increased participation from independent designers of cocktail sarees, dresses, designer bags, costume jewellery and accessories. Objects of art included trays, lamps, wall art, murals, aroma candles and decorative mirrors and furnishings including  dhurries   and embroidered bed linen.
