The victims, Nasar Khan, Imran Khan and Ranjan Vishwakarma, in their mid-twenties were travelling on a motorcycle when a tanker coming from the opposite direction hit them late on Friday night, police said.
Nasar and Imran died on the spot while Ranjan was rushed to Bisrampur government hospital, where he died of his injuries, sources said.
The driver of the tanker fled the scene following the accident, police said adding that the tanker and the motorcycle have been confiscated.
