In a recent video from Agra’s iconic tourist spot Taj Mahal, a heated exchange was captured between a CISF officer and a tourist. The video which has now gained attention on social media shows how a verbal spat between the duo leads to a scuffle.
The tourist was allegedly attempting to shoot a reel within the monument premises despite a ban there. According to a India Today report, the on-duty CISF officer Ramesh Chand landed up in the fight as he had stopped the tourist and his friends from capturing the video.

As per a a police report, the incident occurred at around 2 pm on Saturday when the visitors were trying to record a video near the ‘Mehmankhana,’ by violating the ban on videography enforced within the premises.
The female tourist who was there along with her friends was stopped from recording the video, as per the rules but despite being warned, they continued recording.
This led to the CISF personnel confiscate the tourist’s mobile phone which instigated the heated argument.
Infact, in the video, the tourist is seen pushing the cop, who then pushes back, causing her to fall to the ground.
However, the woman gets back on feet tries to hit the CISF personnel again.
Following this scuffle, the two girls who were with the woman attempt o intervene while requesting access to the phone so that they could contact the authorities. One of them, later reported the matter to the CISF control room.
During the interrogation, the officer said that the tourists became angry and resorted to physical violence after they were asked not to shoot the video.
The police are examining the viral video along with the CCTV footages of the area in order to understand the cause behind the fight.
The matter is currently being investigated and appropriate action as per the findings of the probe has been assured.
The Taj Mahal a UNESCO World Heritage Site and thereby authorities have urged visitors to strictly adhere to the guidelines and regulations in place.
