Training programme on growing medicinal plants

HYDERABAD: A one-day training programme on cultivation and utilisation of medicinal plants will be coducted by the Herbal Garden Scheme and Andhra Pradesh Horticulture University on July 8 at the Krishna Vignan Kendra in Zaheerabad. The programme’s main objective is to promote cultivation and transfer of technology of medicinal crops. The registration of participants will commences from 9.30 am. The programme is being conducted with assistance of the National Medicinal Plant Board of India.The programme will give information on the promotional schemes of medicinal plants in the state.
