Kolkata: Two gruesome murders in a span of a single day in Kolkata has sent shock waves throughout the country. In the first murder reported on Friday, a man was murdered in broad daylight by a real estate promoter over money.
The accused in the case murdered the middle-aged man as he owed him around 1 crore rupees. The accused attacked the victim with a chopper and then surrendered himself to the police. Both the accused and the victim were real estate promoters.
In another incident of murder from central Kolkata, a 60-year-old woman was found murdered in her house early on Friday morning. The woman was found dead by her son who lives above her apartment. The house was found ransacked when the woman's body was recovered. No arrests have been made so far.
