The 72-year-old Hazare continued with his hunger strike for the third day on Thursday demanding a stricter anti-corruption law. Hazare has been demanding more teeth in the proposed Lokpal Bill and has come up with his own version called the Jan Lokpal Bill.
The Government, faced with massive support for Hazare's crusade in the civil society, has already indicated that it is ready to talk with him and has requested him to end his fast.
