New Delhi: Two men allegedly involved in betting during India-Bangladesh World Cup cricket match were arrested in East Delhi, police said on Sunday.
Manish Bagga and Neeraj Sehgal had reportedly accepted bets of up to Rs 8 lakh. Police raided Bagga’s house in Shiv Puri area near Preet Vihar in East Delhi from where the two were running a betting racket.
The police arrested the duo on Saturday night at Bagga’s residence and seized a recording machine, five mobile phones and a colour television.
