New Delhi: The protests by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services aspirants are intensifying and have once again turned violent in Delhi.
The demonstrating aspirants have blocked all roads leading to the protest site at Mukherjee Nagar which is the hub of those hopeful of joining the steel frame of India.
They also pelted stones on the police force which put up more barricades and stopped vehicles from going near the protest site.
The protestors are sitting on the roads and raising slogans demanding the removal of CSAT which they say is biased against rural, regional language and humanities background students. Slogans are also being raised against UPSC Chairman DP Agarwal.
The police has barricaded all roads near the protest site and closed the entry of vehicles in the area.
Earlier in the day, the aspirants closed several coaching institutes in the area to garner more support for their cause.
They are not ready to bow down and are planning to intensify their protests so that the government fulfils all their demands.
