As the newly-built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya gears up for the first time celebrations of Ram Navami, the ‘divya abhishek’ of Ramlalla was performed in the ‘garbh griha’ on Wednesday morning.

The pious occasion of Ram Navami is being celebrated for the first time in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple after the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla.
On Wednesday morning, the temple authorities posted pictures of ‘divya abhishek’ of Ram Lalla as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and several other leaders expressed their satisfaction to see Lord Ram finally in his “permanent home” at the grand Ayodhya temple.
The ‘Surya Tilak’ is set to take place from 12:16 pm to 12:21 pm, when rays of the sun will symbolically mark the forehead of Ram Lalla’s idol placed in the ‘garbh griha’.
Huge crowds are expected in Ayodhya on Ram Navami to witness the ‘Surya Abhishek’ or ‘Surya Tilak’ of Ram Lalla.
