NAMAKKAL: A key witness in a twin murder case has been shifted to a hospital in Coimbatore as her health condition deteriorated.

NAMAKKAL: A key witness in a twin murder case has been shifted to a hospital in Coimbatore as her health condition deteriorated.A police officer told Express that T Sathyavathi, who survived the attack of the murderers, was undergoing treatment in a private hospital here since October 13 — the day she was attacked by the murderers who allegedly killed her daughter B Sindhu and mother R Visalakshi at their house in Mullai Nagar.“She was severely injured when the killers slit her throat. On Monday, her condition deteriorated due to lung infection. Following the doctors’ advice, she was admitted in a private hospital in Coimbatore,” the officer said. Policemen have been giving her protection at the hospital as Sathyavathi was a key witness in the case, he added.Meanwhile, according to informed sources investigations into the twin murder case were hit as the special team could not get any breakthrough even after appealing to the public to share any information they have in connection with the murder.
