New Delhi: India’s biggest filmmaker Yash Chopra gave Indian film industry some of its best romantic films. The director painted the 70mm with the many hues of love and romance, but before the release of his last directorial film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, the ace filmmaker left for heavenly abode.
Known for his films like ‘Silsila’, ‘Kabhie Kabhie’, ‘Chandni’ and ‘Veer Zara’, Yash Chopra gave love a new definition with each of his films. And, with his last offering ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ all slated for its release on November 13, the veteran director has left many of his fans devastated.
Yash Chopra began his Bollywood journey with ‘Dhool ka Phool’ in 1959 and later he achieved success with his 1965 commercial hit ‘Waqt’.
Later the director joined hands with superstar Amitabh Bachchan and gave Bollywood some of his best films like ‘Deewar’, ‘Trishul’ and ‘Silsila’.
