After hearing the news of his lover’s death, a 23-year-old student committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at Lakdikapul here on Wednesday.
The girl had committed suicide by setting herself ablazee at her residence on Tuesday. The young man, Srikanth,
a degree student and resident of Singapuram in Ranga Reddy district, had an affair with 18-year-old Maheswari. Their parents rejected their love and wedding proposal. The girl’s parents lodged a police complaint against Srikanth alleging that he was harassing the girl.
