New Delhi: With the remake of 1973 cult 'Zanjeer', director Apoorva Lakhia has tried to sell the old wine in a new bottle. Though, the new bottle is not enough impressive like the original. Ram Charan steps into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan as the angry young man while Priyanka Chopra is a NRI girl who is a witness to a murder.
Though the latest 'Zanjeer' is a new take on the original film, Apoorva Lakhia has still retained some of the most popular dialogues of the cult film. And, at the same time, he has also added a bevy of below the belt one-liners in the film. Here is our list of 15 popular as well as below-the-belt dialogues.
Jaani ye liver revolver nahi hai, AK 47 hai. Bohot capacity hai, says Priyanka Chopra to a friend after she drinks. (This liver is not a revolver, in fact, it is an AK 47 as it has a lot of capacity)
Sir honeymoon waale din apni biwi ko bolenge ki teri file kholu or lock up mein daalu. (Seeing ACP Vijay Khanna's loyality towards his work, his juniors crack a joke saying, "Even on his honeymoon, sir would tell his wife that should I put you in lock up".)
Jab tak baithne ko kaha na jaye sharafat se khade raho. Ye police station hai tumhaare baap ka ghar nahi. To which Sher Khan replies, Sharafat se khada hoon isliye tum bhi khade ho varna lete hote (ACP Vijay Khanna tells Sher Khan when he is about to take a seat in the police station, "Till the time I don't tell you to sit. Keep on standing. This is a police station not your home".)
Goli aisi jagah thokunga ki karobar kya har roz ke kaam karma bhi mushkil ho jayega. (Sher Khan threatens Teja that he would shoot him at such a place that forget about his business Teja would not be able to do his daily jobs.)
Teja asks ACP Vijay when he enters his office, Aap mujhe bula lete? To which Vijay replies, Mere office mein AC nahi hai toh pata nahi chalta ki aapka paseena garmi se nikla ya darr se.
Agar dosti karni thi toh khaane pe bulata thaane mei kyu. (Sher Khan tells ACP Vijay, "If you had to extend a hand of friendship you should have called me on dinner rather than at the police station)
Sher Khan baimaani ka dhandaa bhi imaandari se karta hai.
Hamare haathon arrest hone vale kabhi bail nahi maanga karte. (Mona Darling tells ACP Vijay, "People who get arrested by me do not apply for a bail.")

Vardi toh aati jaati rahegi abhi toh Teja ke pade utaarne hain (Sher Khan asks ACP Vijay to worry about him to which Vijay replies "more than getting his job back, he is interested in making things worse for Teja".)
Isme itni cholesterol hain ki do din tak bed se uth nahi paoge. Or isme itni power hai ki do din tak tum bed se nahi uth paogi. ( Mona Darling tells Teja while he is eating peanuts that he should not eat much as it may affect his health. To which Teja replies, "it also has so much of power that it would not make Mona get up from the bed for two days.")
Vardi mein toh watchman bhi apne aap ko police commissioner samjhata hain. (Even a watchman thinks of himself as a police commissioner after wearing the uniform.)
The film suggests what to expect from it in the beginning only. Mumbai me kuch log aane ke liye marte hain, kuch aake marte hain, (Some people die to come to Mumbai, some die after coming).
Prakash Raj sums up Ram Charan's adventurous in one line, S**** naam Vijay kya rakh liye, apne aapko seriously lena laga, (He has started taking himself seriously after adopting the name Vijay).
Prakash Raj also says, Age se kya karma jab mileage strong hai, (What to do with the age if the mileage is strong). You know what it means, right?
