In 2013, Narendra Kumar of IND emerged victorious in this seat beating Rita Choudhary of IND by a margin of 17,118 votes which was 11.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 40.85% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Rita Choudhary of INC won this seat beating Narendra Kumar of IND by a margin of 405 votes which was 0.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 27.61% in the seat.
