In 2013, Phool Singh Meena of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sajjan Katara of INC by a margin of 13,764 votes which was 8.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.5% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Sajjan Katara of INC won this seat beating Vandana Meena of BJP by a margin of 10,696 votes which was 9.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.4% in the seat.
