International Women’s Day: Meet These Women Who Are Shaping The Future Of Tech
More and more women are getting involved in technology, changing the landscape for their future generations.

Every year, on March 8, the world celebrates International Women’s Day. The occasion highlights the significance of a woman in every field of life, and what she stands for. This Women’s Day, let’s take a look at the incredible women who are bringing a change with their innovations in the technology sector. This sector has always been dominated by men; but as the world moves forward, times change for the better. As more women are getting involved in technology, changing the landscape for their future generations, all the while facing and prevailing over the obstacles thrown at them. So, here are some women, who successfully made an identity in tech.

Smiti Bhatt Deorah:

Smiti is the co-founder and the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Advantage Club, a platform working towards employee engagement and financial health. Her responsibilities include the company’s business growth, customer service and content operations. Before she started her company, she worked at Microsoft in the states, as a software engineer. She did her Master’s in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Meena Kapoor:

She is the founder, as well as the Managing Director of Astroyogi. It is a digital astrology platform, where the users can know their horoscope at any time of the day, from anywhere in the world. She did her graduation in Design Thinking, from Stanford University.

Neeti Sharma:

Neeti is the CEO of TeamLease Digital and the governing board member of TeamLease Skills University, which is the country’s first competency based institution. Carrying an experience of more than 3 decades in fields like corporate, government organisations and educational institutions, Neeti Sharma is credited with playing an important role in India’s economic growth. She completed her graduation in Statistics and Economics from the University of Mumbai, and did her MBA from Symbiosis University, Pune.

Monika Saxena:

She works as the Chief Program Strategy Office at RevFin, a digital lending company. Monika carries an experience of 20 years in sales, consulting, instructor and organisational development. She worked in companies like Samsung, American Express and NIIT. Currently, Monika is working as an instructor, focusing on projects related to climate change.
