It took 110 embroiders working for 3720 hours and weaved their magic for Priyanka's wedding attire. The ace designer Sabyasachi took to Instagram and posted details about the intricacies of the design.

For the Hindu ceremony, the couple painted the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in the color of red and gold.

She looked like a quintessential traditional Indian Sabyasachi outfit. In a deep red lehenga with heavy embroidery and sequin work.

It took 110 embroiders working for 3720 hours and weaved a their magic for Priyanka's wedding attire. The ace designer Sabyasachi took to Instagram and posted details about the intricacies of the design.

On speaking about the wedding attire of the bride and groom he said, "The dress was hand-embroidered and hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss, delicate Siam-red crystals and layer upon layer of threadwork embroidery creates this piece of impossible couture. 110 embroiderers from Calcutta, India took 3720 hours to create this modern masterpiece.

As an ode to the resplendence of Mughal jewellery, her wedding jewellery was crafted with uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold and had delicate tiny stars in uncut diamonds to give a sense of whimsy to an important traditional piece. Nick Jonas wears a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa. His rose cut kalgi and Syndicate diamond necklace are from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection."

Overwhelmed by Sabysachi's creation Priyanka said in an interview with Hello magazine, "For the Indian wedding, I wore Sabyasachi," revealed the Bollywood star. "I always knew I wanted a red traditional silhouette for my wedding but Sabya brought in incredible French embroidery to the mix and with incredible jewelry and western inspired veil it was just such an amalgamation of who I am!"

The couple tied the knot in a two-day event at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 1-2. After completing the nuptials, the two were spotted at the airport heading for Mumbai.

The couple solemnised their relationship with a Western wedding on Saturday, followed by a traditional ceremony as per Hindu customs the next day. The star-studded nuptials were attended by the couple's family members, including Nick's brothers Kevin, Joe and their respective partners, Danielle and Joe's fiancee, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.

On Friday, following their arrival at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the couple had held a Mehendi ceremony, where Priyanka had henna designs applied to her hands. On Saturday after the Christian marriage service, an elaborate dinner and the after-party was organised that apparently went late into the night. The couple also hosted a dance off with their families at the party.

The marriage comes just three months after the pair was engaged in August in a traditional Indian 'roka' ceremony. The pre-wedding festivities for the couple, who has been on a celebration spree ever since they kicked-off their respective bachelorettes.
