Actor Mime Gopi Helps Children Fighting Cancer With Cooku With Comali Prize Money
In collaboration with a trust, Mime Gopi arranged a round-trip flight for the cancer-affected children from Chennai to Bangalore.

Mime Gopi, who has proved himself as a reliable actor in Tamil and Telugu films, became the winner of the cooking reality show, Cooku With Comali season 4 in 2023. With 12 contestants on the roster, Mime Gopi emerged victorious and became the first male contestant ever to win the show. After winning the fourth edition of Cooku With Comali, the actor promised that he would help cancer patients with his prize money.

Standing by his words, Mime Gopi has now fulfilled his promise by gifting the cancer-affected children their first flight. In collaboration with Thenmozhi Memorial Trust, the actor arranged a round-trip flight for the cancer-affected children from Chennai to Bangalore.

Apart from being busy on movie sets, Mime Gopi also actively participates in social services. Providing an experience of flight to cancer-diagnosed children, the actor is now trending in the entertainment industry. The initiative is named Vaan Ulaa. It officially began on February 16 and will conclude on February 17. The actor himself shared this news with his fans through his Instagram handle. Actor Sasikumar and Chef Venkatesh Bhatt also accompanied the actor and the children to the airport.

Mime Gopi also runs his mime studio where he trains people in this art. It is named G Mime Studio. The actor was last seen in the Telugu movie Salaar. It was directed by Prashanth Neel and starred Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Mime Gopi played the role of Bilaal in the movie. Apart from this blockbuster movie, the actor was also seen in Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa. It was written and directed by Sukumar. The actor will also play a prominent role in the sequel of the pan-India movie.

Mime Gopi has primarily acted in Tamil films in his over a decade-long career. He debuted with the movie Kannum Kannum in 2008. It was directed by G Marimuthu.
