Sukriti Kandpal played an important role in the serial Anupamaa. The show, which has been running for the past three years, brought onboard Sukriti to play the character of Shruti in the serial.
Shruti was seen playing the role of Anuj’s fiance, who is the second husband of Anupamaa. In the show, the character will bid adieu by writing a letter to Anuj before leaving for the USA. As per the storyline of the show, Shruti was supposed to marry Anuj, but her part has ended.
In a recent conversation, Sukirti Kandpal celebrated her portrayal of Shruti and shared her thoughts on current happenings, feedback from her fans, and what lies ahead for her. In the interview, the actress said, “The current track of the show is basically a mix of all the emotions of love, jealousy, and insecurity and how it all plays out. According to me, it’s very beautiful how it shows we are all humans. It’s a humanising one, in my opinion. Personally, I believe the plot has reached its conclusion.” Her character’s exit from the show was left open-ended.
The actress has also revealed that she is quite happy with the response she has received for her portrayal of Shruti in the show. She also said that the entire team on set, from her co-stars to the behind-the-scenes crew, is wonderfully warm and accommodating, which made her work experience extremely pleasant on the show.
