Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has bought three office units in Mumbai earlier this months, if reports are to be believed. The Kalki 2898 AD star is said to have purchased the office spaces in Andheri West. The units are situated in Veer Savarkar Signature building, the same location that actors such as Kajol, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan have own commercial spaces in the same building.
According to the documents accessed by FloorTap.com, Big B paid Rs 59.58 crore for three office units. The office spaces are spread across 8,429 square feet area. The office units also comes with three car parking slots. As per the documents, Amitabh completed the transaction by paying Rs 3.57 crore. Amitabh is yet to comment on the purchase.
This is not his first commercial space buy. Amitabh owns four office spaces in the Signature Building in the past, which he put out on rent last year. The yearly rent of the property for Rs 2.07 crore, with a security deposit of Rs 1.03 crore. Amitabh is yet to comment on the report.
Earlier this year, Amitabh had bought a piece of land in Ayodhya. He reportedly bought a 10,000 square feet land from The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).
Amitabh’s latest purchase comes just days after Abhishek bought six apartments in Borivali. The actor purchased the apartments in the Oberoi Sky City project by Oberoi Realty, according to a report in MoneyControl. The six apartments sprawl a total of 4,894 square feet and were sold at a rate of Rs 31,498 per square feet. The sale agreement was signed on May 5, 2024.
The six apartments are on the 57th floor of the high-rise building located along the Western Express Highway (WEH) in Borivali East, and come with 10 car parking spaces.
Amitabh and Abhishek are yet to address reports of their property buys of the year.
