Avneet Kaur’s film, Luv Ki Arrange Marriage, where she is paired opposite Sunny Singh, has dropped on Zee5. Ahead of the film’s release, the actress and Sunny sat down with News18 Showsha for a chat. During the interaction, both of them opened up on working with veterans like Annu Kapoor and Supriya Pathak Shah in the film. Avneet said that she got to learn a lot from veteran actors like Anu Kapoor and Supriya Pathak. She also marveled at how knowledgeable they are, yet are so humble, that she had a great time shooting with them.
She said, “They are so inspiring! Who doesn’t work with them? I mean, they are legends. They re both so amazing and intelligent. I used to see Annu Kapoor ji’s acting, I used to love his roles and wanted to work with him for the longest time. But I got to know him well during the shoot. He’s so intelligent. He has so much knowledge to give. I try to take as much as I could.” Sunny added, “Unka knowledge bahut hai. Hum jahan shoot kar rahein the, unke uss jagah ke baare mein bhi pata tha.”
Avneet Kaur was among the stars who attended the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The actress reached the French Riviera to unveil the first look of her upcoming film ‘Love in Vietnam’. During the same chat, when asked about the negativity around it on social media, Avneet told us that it’s unfortunate and people should, in fact, take pride in India’s presence at the prestigious film festival.
Meanwhile, Luv Ki Arrange Marriage centers on a young couple, portrayed by Sunny Singh and Avneet Kaur, who come together through an arranged marriage arrangement. Initially at odds with each other, they gradually develop unexpected feelings. Amidst this romantic entanglement, the quirky Rajpal Yadav, who is infatuated with Supriya, adds to the humorous chaos. As the young couple tries to nurture their own love story, they must also navigate their parents’ surprising romance.
