Days after actor Irrfan Khan’s death anniversary, his son Babil Khan took to his Instagram handle on Wednesday to share a cryptic post. Babil dropped a series of throwback pictures of his father as he talked about “survival threats” and “burdens of life”.
Babil talked about the life and struggles of a caterpillar and shared that his late father was no different. “I think my father did that brilliantly, accept his role in nature and follow through with extreme obedience and discipline. We think we are bigger than what created us yet we pray for redemption, but still barely put any effort into working and living in worship to the light within us. And a lot of work that goes into seeing that light inside you for what it is truly means accepting your darkness and pain, it is the only way to transcend the weight of the vibrations of the music of your being,” he wrote.

The young star hoped that everyone would find “a way to love each other” and face “survival threats” bravely. “I write this with complete awareness of the fact that I have been materially privileged enough to be able to think like this but I hope that through our united efforts, one day we can lead our society or our collective consciousness to wonder in creativity and not just calculate for survival, strike the balance; I pray that we find a way to love each other and yet be capable of defending ourselves from the many survival threats that nature brings to us, I pray we evolve from our experiences rather than be burdened by life,” he added.
Lately, Babil Khan has been sharing several cryptic posts online, which has only left his fans worried. A few days back, the actor shared his father’s photos and penned down a heartfelt note, promising never to give up. “You taught me to be a warrior, but engage with love and kindness. You taught me of hope and you taught me to fight for the people. You do not have fans, you have a family, and I promise you baba I will fight for our people and our family till you call upon me. I will not give up. I love you so much,” he wrote.
Prior to this, Babil Khan allegedly wrote, “Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to Baba,” on his Instagram stories. However, it was reported that the Qala actor had deleted it in just a few minutes.
Babil Khan started his Bollywood journey with Qala and was recently seen in The Railway Men. He will soon be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s The Umesh Chronicles with Amitabh Bachchan.
