Bagheera Trailer: Sri Murali's Dual Role As Cop And Assassin Impresses Fans

Actor Sri Murali is all set for his upcoming crime drama Kannada film Bagheera, directed by DR Suri. Hombale Films unveiled the film’s trailer on October 20. The trailer reveals Bagheera (Sri Murali), a masked assassin, who embarks on a mission to ruthlessly eliminate criminals while remaining hidden from public life. The police officers are criticised for being unable to control Bagheera’s activities. While Sri Murali becomes a masked man at night, he performs his duties as a police officer during the morning. Prakash Raj’s character is shown to be against Bagheera and aspiring to get hold of him dead or alive. The 2-minute 35-second trailer ends with the action sequence of the masked man confronting the criminals. The trailer has garnered more than 8 Lakh views and counting. Starring Rukmini Vasanth, Achyuth Kumar, Garuda Ram and others, this film will be released at the cinema halls on October 31, 2024.

Social media users loved the trailer and rooted for Sri Murali’s appearance in the comment section. Others commented that there would be another blockbuster from the Kannada film industry. One of the social media users commented, “Love the presence in every act of Sri murali sir love you, sir." On the technical front, Prashanth Neel has penned the Bagheera’s story. AJ Shetty has handled the film’s cinematography. B Ajaneesh Lokanth is in charge of the film’s background score. Pranav Sri Prasad has handled the cuts while Chanthan D Souza has choreographed the action sequences.

Amidst the discussion surrounding the film, one of the social media users noted a unique feature. The user tweeted, “The Batman influence is acceptable because when a story about a vigilante is told, whether intentionally or unintentionally, the Batman influence will be present. But I expect Bagheera to be a good film."

Besides Bagheera, Sri Murali will act in an upcoming Kannada film Paraak directed by Halesh Kogundi. Brand Corporate Production has produced Paraak. As per a popular Kannada media outlet, Sri Murali was attracted to act in this film because of the film’s concept it is based on and that much like Bagheera. The media outlet referred to both films as content-oriented.
