Billy Ray Cyrus Faces Allegations Of Abuse And Isolation From Estranged Wife Firerose
The Australian native said that she was allowed to get her nails done once a month, referring to this as "systematic isolation".

Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from singer Firerose after only seven months of marriage, with allegations of violence surfacing from both sides. In an interview with Page Six, Firerose disclosed that Billy Ray Cyrus tossed her from their Tennessee home the day before her scheduled double mastectomy. The 36-year-old is highly suffering from breast cancer since she recently received a diagnosis of having the BRCA1 gene.

Her “voice cracked,” according to Page Six, as she described how Billy Ray made her feel like a captive while living on their farmhouse outside of Nashville and how he would not stop screaming at her.

In an interview that was published on Sunday, June 30, Firerose said, “Billy had very strict rules.” Firerose was reportedly only permitted to see a nearby chiropractor and she didn’t own a car.

The Australian native went on to say that she was allowed to get her nails done once a month, referring to this as “systematic isolation”.

“I couldn’t find the courage to leave.”

Firerose stated that friends and relatives were not permitted to visit and that if she needed to send out a text, she was required to read it to him for approval. “It was the same for email.”

According to a stylist who is one of Firerose’s close friends, she felt as though she was a prisoner.

As per Firerose, the stress got to the point where, two days ahead of their October wedding, she passed out and had to be brought to the hospital. She said that Billy Ray would ignore her for hours, sometimes even days.

Firerose claimed she ultimately received a car and drove to a therapist, only for Billy Ray to shout at her because he thought she had been talking about him.

After learning that she had a BRCA1 gene mutation, she took the decision to undergo a double mastectomy.

She stated that Billy Ray preferred for her to remain at a remote cabin accompanied by a nurse.

“I didn’t even know how to tell my friends they may not be allowed in the property,” Firerose said of the friends from LA who had offered to come take care of her.

At last, Firerose was never given the chance to undergo the operation because on May 23, the day it was scheduled, Billy Ray booted her out and filed for divorce.
