The latest season of the popular reality show Dance Karnataka Dance has been winning the hearts of viewers since day one. Meanwhile, the latest promo video for the upcoming episode is out, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention.
The promo video features Mimicry Gopi’s amazing dance performance. Gopi is giving full retro vibes in his whole performance. He is seen wearing a full-sleeve white collared shirt paired with matching trousers and a black waistcoat. He danced to the peppy song Naanu Yaaru Yaava Ooru from the 1981 Kannada action thriller film Antha. The soundtrack of the song was composed by GK Venkatesh, with lyrics written by Chi Udaya Shankar, RN Jayagopal and Geethapriya.
Antha is directed by Rajendra Singh Babu, based on HK Ananth Rao’s serialised story of the same name published for the weekly magazine Sudha. The film stars Ambareesh and Lakshmi in the lead roles, while Shakti Prasad, Lakshman, Vajramuni, Tiger Prabhakar, and Sundar Krishna Urs are in supporting roles.
On the dance reality show, Gopi has done the mimicry of legendary actor Ambareesh, which is not at all an easy task. After the performance, he received immense appreciation from the judging panel, including actor Shivarajkumar, actress Rakshita Prem, dance master Chinni Master, and Vijay Raghavendra. The promo video was shared on the official Instagram page of Zee Kannada. Take a look at the video:

The list of contestants of Dance Karnataka Dance 2024 includes numerologist Aryavardhan, Olle Hudga Pratham, Kavya Shaiva, Yashashwini, Mimicry Gopi, Meghana Shankarappa, Akshara, Gagana, Rithu Singh, Dhanush, Bhavish, and Remo.
Mimicry Gopi is popularly known for films like Chaos (2023), Suraari (2023), and Bond Ravi (2022). He will soon be seen in the upcoming drama film Karki. It is directed by Pavithran and will also star Jai Prakash Reddy, Meenakshi Dinesh, Sadhu Kokila, and Bala Rajawadi. Apart from this, he also has the film First Night With Deva, directed by PVR Swamy and written by Pratham, in his pipeline.
