Emily Blunt Reveals Taylor Swift's Compliment For Her Daughter Nearly Made Her Faint
Emily Blunt recalled an interesting encounter with Taylor Swift when the singer helped her daughter and made her feel confident.

Just like dozens of her fans, Hollywood star Emily Blunt is also a true Swiftie by heart. The Oppenheimer actress, who is presently busy with the promotion of her film The Fall Guy, appeared on the Monday episode of SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. Besides sharing details of her role in the film, the actress also revealed a very sweet encounter that she had with the Fortnight singer. Describing her as “the nicest,” Emily explained how Taylor made her eldest kid, Hazel, feel happy and confident.

Recalling an incident, the actress said, “She was so nice to my kids. My oldest kid had just cut all of her hair off—this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about. And Taylor Swift goes like, ‘God, look at you; you’re just this 60s Beatnik cool kid. I love your style.'”

Emily also shared how her daughter felt very happy, further adding, “I thought my child was going to faint. It was the best thing anyone has done for my child.”

The Devil Wears Prada actress didn’t stop here and heaped more words of praise for Taylor, calling her “very cool.”

This is not the first time that Emily has spoken so highly of the singer. Earlier in an interview, the 41-year-old declared herself a “colossal” Swiftie and also shared her current favourite track of the singer. Recently, Emily, along with her The Fall Guy co-star Ryan Gosling, delivered an epic cover of Swift’s All Too Well at Saturday Night Live.

While the Barbie star kicked off the show by bidding farewell to his beloved character Ken, he was soon joined by Blunt who tried to convince him to end his Barbie era and focus on being the ‘stuntman’. Their antics also caught the attention of Taylor Swift, who shared the clip on her Instagram story and wrote, “Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is everything.”

More about The Fall Guy

Featuring Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles, the action-comedy film shows the story of a stuntman and a film director. Directed by David Leitch, it is loosely based on the 1980s Lee Majors television series. On the other hand, Swift is winning hearts with her latest studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
