Emotional Aamir Khan Visits Ex Wife Reena Dutta After Her Father's Death, Offers Condolences | Video

Aamir Khan visited his ex-wife Reena Dutta after her father passed away. On Wednesday, the actor was seen making his way out of her home in Mumbai and he looked visibly emotional. In the video, Aamir was getting out of Reena’s building after offering his condolences.

The actor jumped into his car and headed out. He briefly acknowledged the paparazzi present outside the house before he left. The cameras spotted Aamir’s mother Zeenat Hussain with them. Watch the video below:

According to Indian Express, Reena lives in the same building complex as Aamir Khan. The former couple got married in 1986, and divorced in 2002. They share two children, a daughter named Ira and a son named Junaid. While Ira has explored a career in theatre direction, Junaid has followed his father’s footsteps into acting.

Speaking with Simi Garewal in 1999, Aamir confessed Reena’s parents were ‘upset’ about her relationship with him. The couple had decided to elope when he was in his early 20s while Reena was still a teenager. “It wasn’t out of disrespect or rebellion, it was more out of insecurity,” he said on the show.

After his divorce from Reena, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao. The couple separated in 2021. Aamir is on good terms with both his ex-wives. Speaking about his relationship with them, Aamir told Rhea Chakraborty in her podcast, “I don’t like living alone, I need a partner. I am not a loner, I like companionship. I am very close to both my ex-wives Reena and Kiran, we are like one family. Life is unpredictable, so how can we trust it? So marriages working depends from person to person.”
