New Delhi: It took just a few minutes for the visuals of anchor-turned-actor Siva Kartikeyan being assaulted at the Madurai airport on Sunday morning to go viral on social media. For the uninitiated, the actor had flown to the airport to attend a promotional event at Thoothkudi along with actors Kamal Hassan and Hansika Motwani.
The video shows the actor coming out from the airport’s arrival gate when a small group of people started heckling him.
According to media reports, Kamal Hassan's fans were upset over a spoof Siva had done on the actor in one of his movies. As soon as the video of men pushing Siva went viral on social media, his fans took to Twitter to express their support for Siva and in no time, the hashtag #WeSupportSivaKarthikeyan started trending.
