Kolkata: A bouquet of 18 international films for children will be screened in slums and remote areas of West Bengal during the ongoing 15th International Children's Film festival, organisers said.
The six-day long film festival which began on Friday is being jointly organised by UNICEF Kolkata and Cine Central Calcutta in association with state-run multiplex Nandan.
It will be extended to urban slum areas and remote schools in districts such as Purulia and Malda till September 30, organisers said on Sunday.
Films on diverse topics from the US, Canada, China, Croatia, Estonia, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, India, Iran, Poland, Russia, The Netherlands will be showcased for children belonging to all sections of society free of cost.
