Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja Not Interested In Joining The Kapil Sharma Show, Here’s Why

Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja is making headlines for an intriguing conversation that she recently had with the host of a podcast. During the interaction, she opened up about her views on participating in Bigg Boss while also sharing whether she would like to replace Archana Puran Singh in The Kapil Sharma Show. If this was not enough, she also reflected on her family feud with Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah. On being asked whether she would be interested in entering the Bigg Boss house in the Time Out with Ankit podcast, Sunita Ahuja revealed that she had been receiving the offer for a few years now.

She said, “They’ve been making me offers for the last four years. For the OTT version as well, the one hosted by Anil Kapoor. They came to me twice for that, and I told them, ‘Are you mad? You think I clean toilets?’ You ask me this question, but tell me, would you ask Shah Rukh Khan’s wife the same thing? Do you think we’re struggling financially? I don’t even watch Bigg Boss.”

Further, Sunita Ahuja was also asked about her stand if she is offered to replace Archana Puran Singh Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. In response, she said, “Kashmera aur Krushna ke saath mera nahi jamta hai (I don’t get along with Krushna and Kashmera),” further adding, “Karti main agar wo log nahi hote toh karti (Had they not been there, I would have done it). He is with Kapil na. Otherwise I would have loved to do it.”

If reports are to be believed, the ongoing feud between Kashmera Shah and Sunita Ahuja began in 2018. Kashmera, in one of her posts on X, had written about “people who dance for money,” which led Sunita to allege that it was intended to target Govinda. As the tension escalated, both families cut ties with each other. Months ago, the actor was seen attending his niece and Krushna’s sister Arti’s wedding in Mumbai. However, Sunita skipped the celebrations, hinting that all is still not well between the families.

Govinda and Sunita got married in 1987 but decided to keep it under wraps for nearly two years. The couple is parents to two children – Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja.
