Happy Birthday Sohail Khan: A Look At His Journey In The Industry
Following 2005, all three of Sohail's films were consistently a box office flop.

It’s Sohail Khan’s birthday. He turns 53. The actor, who is the youngest member of the Khan family, followed in the footsteps of his superstar brother Salman Khan and ventured into the world of cinema with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in 2002. He was paired opposite Sameera Reddy. But the film failed to create an impact at the box office. Sohail then shared the screen space with Salman in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. While Sohail’s comedic performance was appreciated, and the movie achieved semi-hit status, it did not significantly elevate Sohail’s career.

After 2005, all three of Sohail’s films consistently faced box office failures. He appeared in the 2008 movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na alongside Arbaaz Khan, which emerged as a blockbuster, but Sohail did not reap the benefits as he played a supporting character. In 2008, once again Sohail and Salman joined hands for Veer. However, the film underperformed at the box office and was deemed average. Following this setback, Sohail took a seven-year hiatus.

Returning to the screen, Sohail starred alongside Salman once more in the 2017 film Tubelight, which unfortunately turned out to be a box-office failure. Throughout his 17-year career from 2002 to 2019, Sohail Khan has not delivered a solo hit film. Currently, he is involved in film production under his banner, Sohail Khan Productions.

Despite the challenges and setbacks, Sohail Khan continues to navigate the Bollywood industry, displaying resilience and versatility in his contributions to the film fraternity.
