We are finally out with the list of winners for this year's IBNLive Movie Awards. 2014 has seen a myriad of themes on which filmmakers experimented. Some were successful in narrating fresh new stories, while some faltered. Our readers voted for their favourites in different categories; while some of their choices were predictable, there were the others whose results were refreshingly different. They made some remarkable films win in important categories.
The heart wrenching lyrics of 'Muskurane Ki Wajah' struck a chord with most as voters voted for Rashmi Singh in the Best Lyrics category. Singh's lyrics for the 'Citylights' song fetched her 34.33% votes. The song also fetched Arijit Singh the Best Playback Singer (Male) award.
Irshad Kamil's lyrics in the film 'Highway' for the song 'Patkha Guddi' garnered 25.37% votes while readers Amitabh Bhattacharya's words in 'Zehnaseeb' from the film 'Hasee Toh Phasee' got 19.4% votes. Intresetingly, veteran lyricist Gulzar manage to fetch only 11.94% votes for the 'Jhelum' from 'Haider'.
